Thanks to everyone who replied -- the consensus choice seems to be Greenlee
chassis punches, available from McMaster-Carr, Grainger, Newark, Allied and
maybe my local Tri-State Electrical Supply. Cost is about $25-30 for the
non-ball-bearing grunt and groan type, but they reportedly make nice clean
holes.
