The ones I have seen/used - yes! I can't imagine a tower scenario
where you'd have to use two hands to unhook a lanyard - YIKES!
The aforementioned court case was in the 80's and the failure/fatality
was non-contemporary hardware. The stuff available now is handy, usefull and
safe.
