       IMO with an LP you trade performance for spectrum coverage - wouldn't
be my choice. 

     How important are the WARC bands? With a stack of C31XR's, you'd really
be potent. Fill in with a WARC antenna for total coverage.

      Are you talking about a linear loaded 40M beam? I was never happy with
my linear loaded KLM 40M beams and went to a Cushcraft 402CD. I would put the
larger antenna on the mast just above the thrust bearing in order to minimize
the mast load. Look up your county windspeed at www.championradio.com to see
what you have to deal with wind-wise.
