Thanks for the information.  Indeed, a lengthy search has turned up not one
single piece of this material anywhere in the US or Canada.

Many TowerTalkians have helped me, and I wish to thank everyone who has
replied, either via the reflector, or privately.

I am still looking, but rapidly coming to the conclusion that this material
is unavailable, at any cost.

If someone reading this knows of a sure-bet source -- or even a source for
the solid 2" diameter rod version of this material, in continuous lengths
of more than 12 feet -- I would be most appreciative to know of it.
