Hi to all concerned:

Got this shortly ago:

<<<Dear David,

Your E-mail was passed to me to answer as Jo(anna) didn't understand it too
well!

Can you give be some more information about what you would like to have. I
think perhaps the original 'strater' may have been an article in December
1998
Practical Wireless magazine by Bryan Wells Called 'Making Waves'.

The references at the end of that article were:

M. C. Hately, 'Multiband dipole and ground plane antennas'.
  UK Patent 2112 579, US Patent 4518 968 (21 May 1985). (Now public domain).
M. C. Hately's Letter to the Editor in:
  EW+WW* published in Dec 1992 p1007.
Hately, Kabary & Stewart 'Maxwell's Equations and the Crossed Field
Antenna'.
  EW+WW* Mar 1989 p216-218.
Hately & Kabary 'Electromagnetic Delay Line Radiator'
  UK Patent Application 9508376.2
'The Crossed Field Antenna in Practice' by C. B. Wells in Nov 1989
  EW+WW* p1109-1111.
'CFA Experiments' by C.B.Wells in Dec 1990
  EW+WW* p253-255.

*Originally two separate magazines Electronics World and Wireless World, the
two are now combined into Electronics World and Wireless World. (A, fairly
authoratative Electronics and Radio, UK magazine)

Best regards

Maurice has been asked to write an article about his 'Crossed Field
Antennas'
but sadly we're still waiting for it to materialise although it was patented
some time ago.

Now for some of that 'research' ...
