Come on Bert...it's a real world spec rather than all the fluff that gets
printed
by many ant. producers...their point is they have developed a simple
no tinker matching network that covers all the bands. If one wants to get down
to 1:1 one can install a variable cap and tinker away...since most portable
installations are for a weekend or a few weeks and the coax led in length is
very short and most guys have rigs with built-in tuners...it all seems very
acceptable and real world. Results may vary and in my case the results were
much better than the specs provided by BB3.

I can tell you taking 60 seconds to screw on the BB3 to the 10ft mast
extension
sure beat having to deal with the bucky R7...

HAVE FUN,
dave
