Everybody loves a big antenna with a name that sends chills up
and down your spine. That's often more important than how it
actually works.
I once did a test on 75 meters, changing back and forth between a
G5RV and a BobTail Curtain. Many people reported the Bobtail
was better, many people even said it had better "audio".
In reality, I wasn't changing anything except clicking my
microphone. I was using a dipole the whole time!
Try it some time, it's a stitch to do! I think I'll try that on my yagi,
and see if works the same way as the same strength Rhombic.
