Jim,
Don Wallace was an Electronic Sales Representative with his own business,
Wallace and Wallace (?) which still exists in Los Angeles.
I believe the rhombic farm of W6AM was previously owned by either UPI or
Associated Press. I was once talking to Reg Tibbetts, W6ITH/FS7RT etc. and
he told me that it was the company he worked for. When he heard about his
companies interest in selling the antenna farm, he called Don Wallace to
tip him off. We all know the rest.
