The typical ham ginpole is for round-legged 25G, etc. For work on a tower
that has angle legs or bigger round legs (i.e. 55G, AB-105, Trylon Titan,
etc.), a Rohn one won't work. That is, the mast part can be adapted but the
leg fixture is useless.
For non-Rohn applications, you can attach some sort of S-hook at the
bottom of the ginpole mast to hook onto a brace and then lash it to the leg
with rope (clove hitches are good).
