Some months ago there were comments on TT about tower shipping costs.
Today I received a US Tower HDX-572 with the heavy duty raising fixture,
total shipping weight 1782 pounds, distance of 1100 miles, Visalia,
California to Divide, Colorado.
Driver called me before he left Visalia on Friday morning, I was his first
stop on Monday morning at 7:30AM.... Total freight bill was $500.
The general contractor who built my house lifted the tower off the open bed
truck with a multi-purpose machine he called a "skid loader", took all of
5 minutes once the shipping straps were removed.
If the ham in North Dakota who's expecting a tower delivery this week is on
TT, your tower looks great!!
