The smaller version (5 elements @ 32' boom) would probably be the easiest
to build; shorten your boom and just place the elements at the right places.
They're probably the right length as is since all you're going to do is lose
the end director.
Since gain is mostly a function of boomlength, going to 4 or 5 elements
on the same boomlength is probably going to be pretty similar
performance-wise.
Otherwise getting into EZNEC or another yagi design modelling program
would enable you to design just the way you want.
