Use two or more color tapes on each cable if necessary, just like
Steve suggested!
All of my mess is color coded or I'd be totally lost.
I start with NE (since all my antennas default to NE, vertical, and
160-meters with zero control signals) as the lowest color, and work
my way through the colors in the same general order as resistor,
capacitor, or inductor colors. Since ALL electronic colors are not
available, I just use what is available in tape kits sold by Home
Depot. When I run out of colors, I use a dual or triple color in
ascending colors using the standard EIA code.
Bands are separated that way also, with 160 being black and
eighty brown, forty red, etc.
I record it all in a station wiring folder (even showing splice
locations and some VSWR measurements) and keep multiple
copies in different areas for instant reference. If you don't write it
down, you might as well not do it!
