the apurtment structure extension of a normal home owners policy covers the
attached garage and any other out buildings. if your garage is attatched,
then you can use this extra coverage to apply to your other detached
structures , which include radio towers that are not physically attached to
the main house,,,if you need more coverage for your towers , then just
increase this particular coverage...it is very inexpensive. ie 500,000
home owners...50,000 detached structures,,,100,000 homeowners, 10,000
detached structures, 100,000 home has 30,000 in towers and a 5000 shed
plus a 20,000 pole barn and a 6000 de tached garage..10,000 is free so he has
to pay the extra piddly cost to get the total up to 61,000. $1 to $3 per
area I guess, In Illinois, It is about $1.00 per thousand, go for it.
