>I'm seen a lot of discussion here about guys and anchors for towers,
but was wondering what would be suitable for guying a quarter-wave 40
meter vertical.
I figure it should be some non-conductive material, but would like to
know the pros and cons of the various choices. Also, what would be a
good choice in guy anchors to use with this?

Several of the 4-Square addicts around this area use 3/16" double braided
dacron-polyster, UV resistant. It has about 750 psi tensile strength, more
than enough for their 80m verts so even more safety factor for the smaller
40m verts.
