Hi Mike,
I used to buy my material at a place called "Industrial Metals" when I lived
in California and was building bug stuff for people. Industrial Metals had
a lot of different ways to cut aluminum, but two of their saws used
carbide-tipped circular saw blades. One was a radial arm saw, the other was
a table saw.
I have since made many aluminum cuts using my own saws and carbide-tipped
blades. The cuts are always perfect. You'll be very happy.
Go slow: The material cuts slower than wood. Use ear protection: The noise
from cutting aluminum is substantially higher than cutting wood. Use eye
protection: The aluminum bits are probably harder on your eyes than sawdust
:)
