Maybe for the small (antenna trussing) stuff, but for putting up Rohn
tower you need at least the 3/16" EHS equivalent which is around $.89
and the 1/4" equiv stuff is a whopping $1.29 a foot.
Another option is the Polygon rod. Much cheaper per foot - but large
minimums.
