I recall a similar problem at my previous qth. When my antenna was pointed
in a particular direction, NE as I recall, the swr and noise rose
significantly and would vanished when the antenna was turned 30 to 45
degrees away. Never did figure it out. As I recall some bands were worse
than others. I do not have the same problem at the new qth. Probably
should have researched deeper.
