The bronze ground rod clamps that the hardware stores sell for approx. $2 are designed for only one conductor too, but one can put a bunch of them over one rod.

I can't see the advantage of these fancy new ones, and I bet they cost much more than $2.

seems to only be able to secure a single conductor.  i didn't see the max
wire gauge, think it's 12?
