Dave

those wireless exemptions are great, but , people need
to be a bit careful with them. back in Berea,Ohio back
in the 70's i think there was such an exemption. a ham
bought one of those big bertha towers and put it in a
rather congested development, it was perfectly legal ,
but , the fallout from that one act removed the
wireless exemption and put some rather restrictive
zonign in place. a friend of my dads was trying to go
the legal route and after 2 years of trying to get a
tower approved (a 45 footer i think) he ran for city
council so he could work on it from the inside....

those big berthas are nice towers though.... i had a
chance to get that tower for the price of taking it
down. the only problem was i was only 17 and couldnt
afford the crane to lift it over the owners and the
neighbors house...
