Ken:
US towers has a support like the one you need , but this is for big
antennas, is very simple you will clamp the support to the tower section
the bracket is to support a rotator but the concept is very easy to apply in
your needs.
the bracket is like V this V have 2 sides similar to 2 tower faces or sides,
welded or bolted , the missing side is a turnbuckle , where you put
tension to the bracket and where no need to drill or make any other
modification to the tower it self , you only put at your level and tight
the turnbuckle.
you can weld or add an aditional support the length you need to support your
yagi or vertical, without compromise the specificacions of the tower or
performance.
is very easy you can make this in a very short time with aluminum angle or
channel from your local metal supply, steel is you want a bigger antenna.
