I'd just pull in 40-60 1/4 wl radials maximum or as many as
I could as long as I could and call it a night. All this
planning and worry over something that can't be easily and
accurately  modeled, measured,  or predicted is the real
waste of energy.

If I may kibbitz, I'd like to inquire as to what degree mass may compensate for length?


I have access to a couple of large Vee shaped I-beam assemblies
(they are used for towing mobile homes).  I could bury them
next to the tower base and attach them to the tower.

The initial purpose is to enhance the lightning grounding but
I am wondering if they could be of value in shunt feeding
the tower?
