I did that ("wet set") for my tower with no problems.  Just make certain
the conduit is large enough.  Don't even *think* about anything less than
3" I.D., assuming few bends.  4" for the part in concrete might be better.

Also make certain the conduit run to the tower has a way to drain itself.
(I did a bad job on this.  If I pull a rag through, it usually comes out
damp or wet.  I sometimes use a shop vac to blow air through it for an
hour.)
