.....and also keep in mind just because one system doesn't
have problems someone noticed it doesn't create a rule or
installation benchmark.

Here in Lamar County, the Sheriff's repeater has serious
pattern problems from guylines and a tower that is more than
25 wavelengths from their antenna.

I can show a model of my three-element forty meter yagi that
shows non-resonant guy lines 20-30 feet below the antenna
seriously degrade F/B ratio.

A single system or a few systems lacking noticeable problems
through some sort of random happenstance does not create an
installation rule.

I'd sure break up the guy lines into short lengths.
