If you changed the length of cable and SWR changed it tells
you the cable (towards the rig since it didn't change
outside), meter, or connections are a problem in that area.

It's possible for meters in rigs to get out of whack. It's
possible for rigs to be come unstable and transmit strong
spurs out-of-band. It's possible to have a connection fail
at 100 watts and be OK at milliwatts.

What happens when you put an analyzer right where the rig
would be?
