Yes. The one-shots are for either stranded or solid. I was thinking solid
bare wire would be cheaper.

Solid AWG2? Isn't that more like "1/4" diameter round bar stock"
Do your oneshots work for stranded? AWG 2 stranded is much, much easier to
come by, and probably easier to work.
