The only problem I can see is that the Rebar would probably not be connected
together as a single conductor and at best the different sections would be
capacitively coupled.

Wonder if anyone has any idea what effect, if any, the rebar in a
concrete pole might have on using the pole as a vertical.

Have had a little experience with antennas in close proximity
to reinforced concrete, but never within the antenna itself (would
use a few drop wires around pole as the vertical).
