It's true I am not a serious DX chaser on those bands, but if I were 
I would certainly not stop with a single vertical. Four-squares and 
beverages are what the big boys use, and so would I. That was the 
reason behind my comment about not understanding the fascination with 
a vertical.

I realize the serious low band antennas will not fit on city lots, 
but serious low band DXers do not live on city lots either.

As someone pointed out, we do what we can with what we have.
