I remember K6EWL showing me something like that which his father  
(W6CN?) had in Los Angeles back in the 1950s.  I suspect it would be  
fairly straightforward to mount a Glen Martin Hazer <http:// 
www.glenmartin.com> on a pole, although it is designed to be used  
with a tower.
