I'd probably do that with the standard Rohn gin pole or equivalent, but I
used a heavy-duty gin pole from WB0B for my Rohn 55. It's a *lot* heavier
than the Rohn gin pole. It might have worked to tie the gin pole to my belt,
but I was afraid it would get a lot of momentum going when it swung to and
fro, and might pull me right off the tower!
