Folks:
LB Cebik has made available 9 collections containing 252 Type-13
files freshly compiled and uploaded to the server's download section
of the Guest Rooms.

Several hundred more of the new Type-13 files are in progress to be
added to the download section as and when completed. Briefly and in
part, their use is explained as:

Amateur interest in the use of propagation software is growing,
especially as VOACAP becomes more readily available. The best way to
obtain the most accurate propagation forecasts and analyses for a
given amateur installation is to use within VOACAP an antenna that
closely resembles the actual station antenna at each frequency of
operation. The resemblance need not be physical, but needs only to
have a radiation pattern that closely fits the performance of the
station antenna.

More info about the files will be found on the software download
index page.

These specially-compiled models are made available without charge
for download now at this URL in the Guest Rooms:
http://guests.antennex.com/rooms/software/index.htm

The above requires your login. If you don't have an active login,
create one here:
http://www.antennex.com/guests.html

Our thanks for LB's kind contribution of these files & his hard work
in producing them.

NOTE: An editorial article with greater details, plus illustrations
about the above modeling files by LB will appear in the next issue
of
antenneX on August 1, 2007.

While you are in the Guest Rooms, you will find many more items that
have been added for your use freely. Check out the Preview section
for more articles, especially the "new" concept of Bill Graham's
"Phased Field Antenna" followed by another article The "Phased Field
(PF4) Antenna - Tested" by one of the antenneX testers, Dave
Cuthbert.

Enjoy!

Thanks for your time & hope to see you soon!
