One more time with the complete question: ;<)
Does anyone on the list know what factors were involved in selecting the WWV
Tower field location in Fort Collins CO?
TIA,

Barry,

In 1953, I worked as a transmitter engineer at KORA, 1240 in Bryan, Texas.

The owner Casey Jones (an ex W5) selected the transmitter site by driving
around during the day in the country listening to the Dallas and Houston
stations on his car radio.

When he found the area of max signal, he located a large pasture and bought
it. We had an outstanding signal.
