Is the lower section B tube double walled (2 tubes
nested)? Mine came with a screw, washer and nut
holding them together and it seems so. The problem is
the 2 holes on the top where B1(the tube with the
insulator) goes in are not in perfect alignment. The
screw will not pass through
both ends.
I'd have to drill it out to pass the screw in for B1
to go in. Is this an error in manufacturing or am I
incorrect about it being double walled? If I have to
drill it out would it weaken the antenna too much?
