My experience with the Autek has not been good. The readings are simply
too unstable for easy use. I believe this has been discussed many times in
various places. The specs for the units are good, but the operation is
not.
I cannot compare it with other makers because I do not have any other
units. None of them are inexpensive, and I do not have a pressing need for
one.
