The OD is 2 1/4", the ID is 1 15/16" and the length of the tube part of the
adapter (not including the ring clamp ) is 7"

Can anyone tell me the EXACT O.D. and I.D and length of the short section
of Tubing that is used at the top of the AB-577/GRC Mil Tower Kit
which many hams have purchased om the Military Surplus market ?
A friend of mine has one of these towers up and is about to take it down
to change antennas and before he starts taking it down in a few weeks
he needs this info to get everything ready in advance he plans to
couple/attach
to that short piece of tubing the kit comes with.
