Hello,

I want to improve lighting protection at the station.

I been reading a lot in Polhypaser, ICE, ARRL, etc, but such ammount of info
and my poor thech english let me to ask in this reflector.

I have in a farm, very high area, 2 towers, 36 and 33 mts high. Both towers
are grounded, 4 rods each with a very wide cable. Each tower have a rotor on
top.

I have Yagi antennas and wire antennas. All coaxial and rotor control cable
go down one leg of the towers and go under ground to inside the shack. All
coaxials goes to a antenna selector MFJ 1700C like this
http://www.universal-radio.com/CATALOG/switch/0212.html.

I use to disconnect all incoming coaxials and the 2 rotors cables always I
left the station.

Sometimes I been in the shack with coaxials disconnected and notice in the
wires antenas connectors a little lighting when in a storm.

I nned to know exactly wich products I need for the coaxials and for the
rotors and how they must be conected.

Anyway I think always i will need to disconnect the coaxials or there´s is a
way to not need to do that if you have a good lighting protection setup?

Thanks in advance!

73,
Jorge
