Go to the nearest Lowe's (or that other orange store) and get yourself a solid
core interior door. Plenty stout enough to hold anything you want to put on
it. My desk is made with 2X4s for legs and the rest of the frame. I special
ordered a 2' wide door panel for the shelf above.
