Unfortunately/sadly there really is a serious, ongoing, tower problem in
Palmdale that gets overlooked because of a few childish individuals..
I no longer feel sorry for the Palmdale hams because they brought this on
themselves. Voting has consequences and this tower problem is one of the
consequences.
I get my network TV programming from Los Angeles, so I also get news from
there to. There are 2 adjoining communities that overlap each other,
Lancaster and Palmdale. I heard and saw this with my own 2 eyes and ears,
otherwise I would not have believed it. The mayor of Lancaster said he
doesn't care about civil, or any other, rights. He is going to do what 'HE'
thinks is best for his community.
As long as that is the prevailing attitude in that little enclave of
communities then hams, and towers, don't stand a chance. The governments
they, including hams, elected want and will get sterile communities.
Our only hope is it stays there and doesn't begin to branch out.
