Fence tubing is not seamless. It has a welded seam. DOM has nothing to do with
being seamless only. If the tubing is extruded such as high quality aluminum
it is seamless.
There are exceptions to all. I have even seen masts made from EMT, irrigation
pipe, and many different materials. I prefer to stay with commercially
available or mil. surplus masts for all but portable ops.

I use Chain Link Fence posts from Home Depot. It's 2" outside diameter and
looks to be DOM.

You need tubing not pipe. Pipe is measured by ID, tubing by OD. You want
DOM (drawn over mandrel) tubing, which is only available at steel suppliers,
not Home Despot.
