This may have been covered before but I have been away for a few days. My
buried plastic gas (propane) lines have a copper wire that runs with each
line. IF the gas company needs to dig them up, they energize the wire and
then have a locator determine where the lines are. You should be able to do
the same with your coax. Maybe a local rental company has this equipment.
