There is no problem to run the LMR-600 ,  if you are sure you have the 75 ohms 
version  you can "adjust" for 50 ohms for 6m, I did that  for the 1/2 CATV who 
feed my 1/2 vertical for years before the change to 1/2 hard line  to be used 
with the beacon
the matching section is easy to make for 6m,  you can find it online or the 
antenna book

the LMR 600 need to say on the jacket  LMR-600-75  if not   can be the 50 ohms
