There is no problem to run the LMR-600 , if you are sure you have the 75 ohms version
you can "adjust" for 50 ohms for 6m, I did that for the 1/2 CATV who feed my

the matching section is easy to make for 6m, you can find it online or the

the LMR 600 need to say on the jacket LMR-600-75 if not can be the 50 ohms

There's a 75 ohm version of Times Wire LMR 600? I've never seen an other than 50 ohm and I believe they'd have to change the name for a 75 ohm version.

He made the remark "I know the LMR 600 is 75ohm so there will be a bit of a mismatch" which is not true.

I wonder if there isn't just a misconception here?
I have over 1500 feet of the stuff and it's all 50 ohms

Although I use the UHF connectors as well, all the ones I've seen for LMR-66 are quite fragile to leverage, so the coax needs to come straight away from the connector. I've broken several by having them at the end of a loop.

I have about 100ft of new LMR600 and also two new UHF connectors to fit the
line. I am Feeding a three element 6M yagi through 50ft of RG213....the end
of which is about 8 ft up the side of my HG52SS tower.....What do you think of
an idea I have to use the LMR600 to feed the end of the RG213 and run directly
into the shack for the K3 for 6M use. I know the LMR 600 is 75ohm so there
will be a bit of a mismatch ...will it be significant?...as far as the K3 is
concerned?
