OK but, the OP (Jeff NØOST) doesn't have a HDX-5106
that weighs 3850# and has a worm drive winch. He has
a HD(X)-555 w/ brake winches...
His HD(X)-555 = 870#, 22 ft tall retracted.
My TX-472 = 1040#, 22.67 ft tall retracted.
My TX-472 is 170 pounds heavier than Jeff NØOST's
HDX-555. When retracted, because the rotator prevents
full retraction, it's taller by about 3 feet (greater
load during tiltover).
Over the past several years, I've run my TX-472
up/down several times on my tower's K-2550 winches
w/o issue. The drill pulls 13A @ 120V (1560W / 2hp).
It's NOT wimpy.
Bonus #1: If/when AC power drops and I need/want to crank
the tower up/down, I can still use the manual winches.
Bonus #2: I can use the drill as a drill to bore ANY size
hole in ANYTHING.
Your solution for your HDX-5106 surely is impressive but,
in this application, WAY overkill.

My HDX-5106 is MUCH heavier than your TX472.
The Super Hawg has a fixed speed of 450 RPM.
That would overheat a KW3000 winch, even if the drill
didn't overheat. But it is probably a good solution
for hams with "normal" towers.
