I'm still waiting for the magic answer to this.

 

If you don't get one, my suggestion is to pull really hard on the rope
generating A LOT of tension.  Maybe you get lucky and it dislodges.  But if
not, cut it under tension and let it snap and recoil as it does.  It is
highly likely that the resulting spaghetti will have no relation to a
resonant wire that could affect your 4 square.
