Subject: [TowerTalk] Suggestions for a free standing 120ft tower?

<Howdy!

<Anyone have any suggestions for a free standing 120ft tower that can
accomodate 100 mph wind guests?

<Thanks,
<Mike

## What are u planning to put on top of this tower ? The Trylon super
titan series will easily handle
100++ mph gusts and also loads of ice, like > 1 inch on all surfaces. IE:
simultaneous ice + windload.
The biggest they make in that series is 180 ft tall. If you want just 120
ft, you can buy any 120 ft of
sequential sections you want. IE: the weakest would be the top 120 ft of the
180 ft tower.
The strongest would be the bottom 120 ft of the 180 ft tower.

## They also make another series of towers, that uses solid legs + welded
solid rod bracing.
It goes to a max of 150 ft. Again, you can buy sequential sections. Again
the strongest
would be the bottom 120 ft. The weakest would be the top 120 ft.

## They have loads of dealers in the usa.
