Really?  Have we lost it? Almost $50 for a clevis?
Three of them cost more than a tower section?
12,000 lb rating?  What size EHS are you using?
How about a foot of guywire instead?
It seems a little dicey to have solid steel loading a porcelain insulator?
If this is common practice, someone please elaborate...

Seems like for $50 they would put a twist in them, so you wouldn't need the 
extra link to the atachment point.
An old post fro Steve pointed to the power industry source, but who knows if 
they sell to the public or their price.
