Yeah... "service cord" strain reliefs... type SJ, SO, etc. I've used 3/8" size 
to fit 0.405" OD coaxial cable. The ones I've  used /just/ fit.

Maybe he meant an "SJ cord" connector, perhaps better known as a cord-grip
or a cord-grip connector?
