Intermittent dirty relay? Lightning or static damaged the T/R relay? Is there a cap to ground (30-40 pF) that has shorted or changed value.

The cap is used to cancel out the inductive reactance in the T-R circuit on 15-6 meters. 6 meters in your amplifier.
