I don't know about putting it in the middle of the 4 Square.  I wouldn't do
that but shouldn't be a problem to run a coax to another antenna a hundred
feet away it maybe even a flat dipole up as high as you could get it and
closer to the 4 Square for ease of installation and not as much coax.
