I also have a Microham StationMaster (as well as some of their other products) 
and think its a great addition to shack automation.
Like you I use it to perform several tasks, including antenna switching.
I have a SteppIR and several antennas that overlap on different bands and the 
unit auto switches flawlessly.  Where I have multiple antennas for a single 
band it auto-switches my default antenna and lets me select the others or a 
dummy load at the push of a button.
I especially like the protection it affords me with my amplifier and the 
SteppIR antenna, by preventing me from keying up until the antenna has tuned 
itself to the new band or frequency.
