FWIW - apparently the birds are different in Arizona --
When I took down my KT34 to rebuild it with the redesigned M2 element clamps
etc -
It took me hours with long pole and swabs and hose to clean out all the birds
nests
and so forth from the 3 inch boom -what a mess - it has aluminum screen wire
covers now .
No issues with the elements .
